Celebration Station: 24546 U.S. 19 N., Clearwater, 1-727-791-1799. No admission for park. Purchase wrist bands and tokens inside. Family fun center featuring go-karts, bumper boats, playland rides, miniature golf, batting cages, a pizza restaurant with interactive video wall, video arcade and soft play structure. Fun for all ages.

Derby Lane Grey Hound Track: 10490 Gandy Blvd., St. Petersburg, 1-813-576-1361. Greyhound racing and parimutuel wagering. Open January to June.

Florida International Museum: 100 2nd Street N., St. Petersburg, 1-800-777-9882. A must see during a visit to this area. Such past exhibits as Titanic and Empires of Mystery.

Museum of Fine Arts: 255 Beach Dr. N.E., St. Petersburg, 1-727-896-2667. Features an excellent collection of European, American, Pre-Columbian and Far Eastern art. 

Museum of Science and Industry: 4801 E. Fowler Ave., Tampa, 1-813-987-6100. MOSI is the Southeast's largest science center with more than 225,000 square feet of exhibits including a butterfly garden, an alternative energy exhibit and a space learning center. The Southeast's largest science center offers high-value entertainment through interactive, permanent exhibits plus a variety of traveling shows and demonstrations, featuring Florida's only IMAX Dome Theater, MOSIMAX.
 

Pier 60 / Pier 60 Park Clearwater: 1 Causeway Blvd., Clearwater, 1-727-462-6466. Offers excellent fishing opportunities, rod rentals, bait and tackle shop and snack bar. The park has a children's playground and beach concessions. Open 24 hours/364 days a year (closed Christmas).
