Museum of Fine Arts: 255 Beach Dr. N.E., St. Petersburg, 1-727-896-2667. Features an excellent collection of European, American, Pre-Columbian and Far Eastern art. 

Museum of Science and Industry: 4801 E. Fowler Ave., Tampa, 1-813-987-6100. MOSI is the Southeast's largest science center with more than 225,000 square feet of exhibits including a butterfly garden, an alternative energy exhibit and a space learning center. The Southeast's largest science center offers high-value entertainment through interactive, permanent exhibits plus a variety of traveling shows and demonstrations, featuring Florida's only IMAX Dome Theater, MOSIMAX.
